The play State Fracture takes to the Baxter stage until Saturday August 19. State Fracture is the sequel to Pay Back the Curry. Starring Daniel Mpilo Richards, pictured, it is produced by Siv Ngesi, directed by Rob van Vuuren and the script is by Mike van Graan. State Fracture follows a similar multi-sketch format to Pay Back the Curry, with Richards’ showing off his physical dexterity, singing, acting range, accents and characterisation. Tickets cost R95 from Monday to Thursday; R110 on Friday and Saturday; R70 for seniors and students; and there is a 15% discount for block bookings of more than 10 tickets. Book through Computicket.
