In celebration of Library Week (March 20 to 26), Cassidy Hendricks, 7, the reading star, from Lotus River (“Love of reading gets Cassidy national recognition”, November 2022), visited the Mini Book Fair at Tokai Library, on Saturday March 25.
Her grandmother Brenda Tommy said Cassidy met with “some inspirational local authors”.
About 15 authors were at the event, including Judy Bekker, Nikki Jacobs, Nerine Dorman, Toby Bennett and Tanya Meeson.
Ms Tommy thanked everyone for engaging with Cassidy. “She had a great time.”
