Clean-up

Pastor Standford Hill of Tongues of Fire, a church organisation in Steenberg, has a passion for the community of Lavender Hill and he and fellow pastors teamed up with the Tokai Lions Club to invite children of the area to help clean up Lavender Hill, on Saturday November 19. After filling up many black bags of rubble, each child received a burger and snacks for all their hard work, at the Lavender Hill civic centre. Pastor Hill, who has been working in the community for seven years, said the clean-up was one of many positive things happening in Lavender Hill. “I have approached many leaders and everyone I speak to wants their children to prosper,” he said.
