The Wynberg East Neighbourhood Watch is inviting residents to take part in the group’s fortnightly clean-up campaigns to beautify the area. The group consist of volunteers with the help of the local civic association who want to beautify the area, specifically dumping and grime hotspots.
They get together every alternative Sunday to cut grass, paint walls and generally clean areas that have been neglected. The campaign started in December last year. Ward councillor, Monty Oliver donated supplies such as dustbin bags, spades, brooms and other tools in order to keep the cleaning initiative going and encouraged other residents to join.
