Dismembered body found in trolley

People look on as forensic specialist examine the crime scene.

Police are still investigating after a dismembered body was found in a trolley in Hilary Avenue alongside Prince George Drive, in Lavender Hill, on Wednesday March 27, at about 7am.

The body was covered with bags and a trail of blood could be seen but the trolley was left in plain sight and was discovered by a passer-by.

When Southern Mail was on the scene, forensic specialists took the entire trolley in to the back of the forensics van.
