Lotus River pensioners Faizah and Salie Manuel give back to their community every Wednesday afternoon when they hand out meals to those on the streets. The hungry gather at the Manuel’s home, on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Bontebokweg, where they receive a hot meal and a handful of sweets.
