Delta Primary School held a granny day last week to celebrate the importance of grandmothers. Teachers selected one grandmother from each class to attend the granny day on Friday August 11 at the school where they were entertained by song, dance and a motivational talk. The grannies also got a gift pack. It is the first time the school hosted the event but teachers are hoping to make it an annual event and are hoping to invite many more grandmothers in future.
