An initiative by the provincial Department of Health to provide primary health care services at schools is running smoothly. Last week the mobile wellness bus made a turn at Levana Primary School, providing primary health services such as oral health, clinical assessments and optometry to pupils. The services are rendered on-site at the school. Levana Primary School is part of the
provincial Department of Health’s health-promoting schools initiative which aims to promote healthy living and eating among pupils, teachers, parents and the extended community.
