Help find missing man

Jamie Derrick Moses has been missing since June.

A Heathfield father has made a desperate appeal for help to find his son who was reported missing in June.

Jamie Derrick Moses, 25, was last seen by his father, Derick Moses, at his home on Wednesday June 28 wearing grey track pants, a hoodie top and white T-shirt.

His father said Jamie was a drug user and had been in prison and was trying to get his life together but had fallen back and turned to drugs again.

“He dodged correctional services and was roaming around in Wynberg for some time but always came back when he was hungry or needed some help. But since June he hasn’t been home,” said Mr Moses.

No one has seen him since and the family are growing concerned that he might be in trouble.

“He was always in contact with me at all times through calls and to not hear anything from him for so long is very worrying because it is uncommon of him. He has had problems with drugs and prison before but at the end of the day he is my heart and he still remains my son no matter what and I would like to find him and help him or at least get closure,” said Mr Moses.

He also sent out an emotional message to his son asking him to make contact and appealed to anyone who has seen Jamie or knows of his whereabouts to contact him on 082 676 1956 or call or WhatsApp the Western Cape Missing Person Unit (WCMPU) on 071 639 8344, 061 494 2032 or 067 681 3375 or email to wcmpu@yahoo.com.
