The seventh annual Cape Town Carnival is set to dazzle the Green Point Fan Walk on Saturday March 12, from 3pm till late.
With the theme, “Street Life”, the carnival this year will embrace the diversity, styles and situations of the different people found in the streets.
Comedian Siv Ngesi will be taking part along with other local personalities, including Liezel van der Westhuizen, Zoe Brown and Danny Ross. More than 2 000 costumed performers and musicians will take to Cape Town’s Fan Walk. The parade will be followed by a street party, showcasing some of South Africa’s top musical talent.
