The three-day Franschhoek Literary Festival which will be held in May will include poetry readings, a competition, discussions and performance poetry.
There will be poetry from across the spectrum from well-known poets to new voices and 13 poetry sessions.You can book for discussions ranging from hip-hop, learning how to write, read and hear poetry, the personal journeys of poets, young voices from Sudan, Nigeria and South Africa, multilingualism and translation in poetry, a discussion around the themes of nature in poetry, to the differing styles and delivery of spoken and written poetry.
