Michele Arendse, a community leader and chairperson of Women in Action from Lavender Hill, gathered a team of facilitators to host a fun-filled day for children on Friday July 14. Children of all ages attended the programme, enjoying activities such as fitness training, singing and dancing. Parents also joined the programme to lend a helping hand with the children. The day ended off with happy smiles as the children received goodies including fruit, which was sponsored by the local tuck shops in the community and the City of Cape Town.
