Steenberg police are asking for help in the investigation of three shooting incidents that took place in Lavender Hill in the past week.
A 55-year-old man was shot dead and a 30-year-old man was wounded on Sunday August 11.
Steenberg police spokesperson, Sergeant Wesley Twigg, said the two men were attacked at 8.40pm in Depsiton Cresent by unknown suspects who fled the scene.
A 27-year-old man was also shot and killed in Depsiton Cresent at about 6pm on Saturday August 10.
On Thursday August 8, a 23-year-old man was shot and killed in De Waal Court at 3.15pm.
No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
Sergeant Twigg said all cases are gang related.

In a separate case, police arrested a 55-year-old man on Wednesday August 7 after he was found in possession of almost 1 000 mandrax tablets at a house in Orchestra Street.
He appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court and was charged for possession of and dealing in illegal substances.
