The Cape Flats Development Association (CAFDA) held their maiden event, a luncheon for about 30 seniors, at their new premises in Boundary Road, Schaapkraal, last week. The 73-year-old organisation still offers most of the same services it did at its Grassy Park location. CAFDA chairman Mark Rossouw said this maiden event was special as it marked the first of many. “We are happy to be continuing services and branch out to areas such as Egoli and Lotus River. We are also planning to roll out many more services for our people so there is a lot to look forward to,” said Mr Rossouw.
