A long time dream was made possible at Floreat Primary School in Steenberg when they opened their new library and media centre on Thursday December 5.
Pupils can now enjoy a fully equipped library with an operating card system – thanks to the help of donors.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially open the library and media centre where pupils can borrow books and other media.
Primary donor, Kirstenbosch Rotary Club, said the library and other projects are a testament to the organisation’s goals to promote education, health and peace.
