The Restoring Hope organisation hosted its annual Pamper Day at the Douglas Murray Home for the Aged in Retreat, where 76 elderly residents received care, on Saturday, February 17.
The day’s activities included haircuts, manicures and foot massages. Each elderly resident at the home received personalised care and attention, as well as a gift.
Dale Hendricks, founder of the organisation, thanked all the sponsors. “Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the dedicated staff at Douglas Murray Home for the Aged, whose tireless efforts and compassionate care create a nurturing environment for the residents. We also express our appreciation to all our amazing donors, volunteers, and attendees who generously contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative.
“The event was aimed at showing gratitude and love towards the elderly residents who have paved the way for generations to come. The primary objective was to remind these cherished individuals that they are not forgotten and remain significant contributors to our society, their wisdom being invaluable.”
