Police bust man for drugs and booze

Grassy Park police have arrested a 50-year-old man on charges related to the possession and dealing of drugs as well as selling alcohol without a valid liquor licence and contravening the Pharmacy Act.

Officers arrested the man at a 6th Avenue house in Grassy Park, on Monday September 13, at about 9am.

Police say they seized dagga; 10 bottles of Stilpane, a codeine-containing syrup you need a prescription for; and alcohol.

Packets and bottles of dagga was found at a residence in 6th Avenue Grassy Park.
Stilpane is a codeine-containing syrup that can only be bought with a doctor’s prescription.
