Southfield Library staff collaborated with ward councillor Carmen Siebritz to organise a movie day for 25 seniors of Southfield, Lotus River and Fairways, on Friday August 23. Gafieldien Agulhas, assistant librarian, said Ms Siebritz helped fund the programme including entertainment. The seniors enjoyed curry and roti for lunch, hot chocolate and popcorn.
The Southern Mail was established in 2000. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres the Promenade Mall and Sanlam Centre within its distribution area.
