Community members, dignitaries, and local leaders gathered at Grassy Park civic centre, on December 9, to celebrate the exceptional individuals and organisations that have consistently made a positive impact on the community. “Tonight, we came together to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the heroes among us – those individuals and organisations that quietly work behind the scenes to uplift our community. Their dedication and selflessness are truly remarkable,” said Donovan Nelson, councillor for Ward 65, including Grassy Park, Lotus River and Parkwood.
