Police are investigating a murder after a man was stabbed repeatedly in Steenberg.
The 37-year-old was stabbed in Sullivan Street, on Saturday morning and died later in Retreat day hospital, say police.
“No arrests have been made,” said Steenberg police spokesperson Sergeant Luqmaan Adams. “A case of murder was opened for investigation.”

In a separate incident, on Thursday October 7, police arrested a 27-year-old man they say was found with a gun and ammunition, in Lavender Hill.
Officers were responding to reports of a shooting in Depsiton Crescent, at about 6.45pm, when they apprehended a man with a Smith and Wesson revolver who was running towards Military Road, police say.
