Training future leaders

Fifty pupils from five schools across Cape Town took part in a leadership summit run by the Rotary Interact Club and the Rotary Club of Newlands at Fairmount High last month. The pupils came from Fairmount, Steenberg, Claremont and Sea Point high schools and the Leap Science and Maths School in Langa. Ridewaan Salie, Fairmount’s acting deputy principal, said: “The purpose of the summit was to teach leadership, collaboration, teamwork, giving back to their communities and how to be a productive citizen.” Picture: supplied
