The Cape Flats Development Association (CAFDA), in partnership with TnT Honey, a honey-making company, hosted a holiday programme for children at the facility on Grassy Park from Tuesday October 4 to Thursday October 6. The children learnt the importance of the role that bees play in the eco system and how honey is made. Other activities included physical exercises and watching movies. CAFDA thanked pupils from the South Peninsula High School Interact Committee for their assistance; Tracey Lee Theunissen and Stephanie Klassen for facilitating the programmes and arranging the props; as well as instructors Lameez Kariem and physical trainer Akil Abdul Rahman.
