Three men will appear on court tomorrow, Thursday August 15 in connection with the killing of 30-year-old Philippi resident Meghan Cremer.
The men appeared in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Thursday August 8 after they were found in possession of Ms Cremer’s car.
She was reported missing after frantic searches by friends and family when she was last seen Saturday August 3.
Her body was later found at a sand mine on a Philippi farm close to her Vaderlandsche Rietvlei stables home on the morning of Thursday August 8.
Captain Lance Goliath, spokesperson for Philippi police, said three men, Jeremy Sias, Charles Daniels and Shiraz Jaftha from Lotus River and Egoli informal settlement, had been charged with possession of stolen property after they were found in Ms Cremer’s car
and one was charged with abduction and murder.
The investigation is still ongoing and the men will appear for bail application tomorrow, Thursday August 15.
