Forever 14 Youth Day tournament

Supporters came out in their numbers at the annual Forever14 one-day soccer tournament held on Youth Day.

The soccer play-offs took place at the Lapland field along Plantation Road in Lotus River and is celebrated every year on Youth Day to commemorate slain soccer player Mikhail Amos and other young people who have been killed in Parkwood due to gang violence.

Teams Chiefs and Benfica played in a nail-biting final where Benfica won the trophy in a penalty shoot. Organisers also prepared a warm meal and party packs for children.
