Over 100 children from Skeemsaam informal settlement and the broader Grassy Park and Lotus River area were treated with a gift box, a party pack and a friendly sermon thanks to an outreach programme by Grassy Park Baptist Church.
The church partnered with an American outreach project, the Samaritans Purse, to gift boxes filled with toiletries, stationery and toys.
