Liam Rhoda, 17, a junior city councillor for Ward 110, gave toiletry gift bags to the netball players, in St Montague Village, in Lavender Hill, recently.
Liam said: “Some children in our area cannot access toiletries. That’s so heartbreaking for me. Therefore I want to make a change by getting these toiletries for them.”
“I started the drive in November last year and this is an extension of my toiletry drive as a junior council project.”
Liam also organised toiletry bags for Hillwood Primary School pupils last year.
