Tina Schultz, matron of Parkhaven Home for the Aged, Wynberg
The Parkhaven Home was established in 1989 by the Western Province Baptist Women’s Society and currently has 35 residents.
We have two to three annual functions to raise funds but with escalating prices our fundraising is insufficient to see to the daily needs of our aged. That is why I am appealing to you for some help in whatever way you can. We will be having an end-of-year function on Sunday December 11 and we will appreciate it if you could donate anything towards making it special. Our aim is to let the senior citizens know that we love and respect them and appreciate all that they’ve done in the lives of the younger generation.
