The women’s ministry group from the United Reformed Church (URC) in Retreat hosted an event at the church to mark Women’s Day, on Wednesday August 9. A group of women from the Haven Night Shelter in Retreat were honoured at the event. The women were
treated to breakfast and gifts. After the breakfast, the women from the women’s ministries joined singer Karin Kortje on stage at the Artscape Theatre as part of their Women’s Humanity Arts Festival. LILLIAN AMOS captured the fun.
