One fatal flaw in the writer’s argument (“Battle to bring death tolls down”, Southern Mail letters January 25), is that man is not a robot or an automata.
He has a choice. If there is a group of thugs fighting in the street, the possibility of him getting hurt if he goes nearer is 100% than if he stays away.
So, the same principle applies here. Don’t challenge death, drive carefully.
Don’t live dangerously then you will live longer.
How and when you die can be determined by yourself not God. If I take an overdose and die, for God’s sake, don’t blame God.
