Muizenberg police arrested a man and a woman in Village Heights on Tuesday October 15, at 10.30pm, after officers found 73 full mandrax tablets, 11 half mandrax tablets, 31 dagga stoppe and cash during a raid.
Officers had received a tip-off while on patrol about drugs being sold at a house.
In a separate incident, on Monday October 14, at about 7pm, police received information that a suspected gang member was selling drugs at his house. During the search they found a lotion container under the bed which contained 140 mandrax tablets and money.
Police officers arrested a 29-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman for dealing in narcotics.
Lieutenant Colonel Maggie Rossouw, acting station commander, was pleased with the arrests.
She urged the public to be supportive of any actions by SAPS to eradicate the scourge of drug abuse in the precinct.
