Fairmount High School, in Grassy Park, had a matric motivational seminar/workshop hosted by Honeybadger Events providing the activities, at the Princess Vlei Eco Centre, on Friday April 26. This initiative was to assist the matrics in their preparations for the important mid-year exams as they need these results to apply to colleges and universities and for bursaries. Said former principal and teacher Terrence Klassen: “The day started with them being divided into various teams, a scavenger hunt on the way to the venue, traditional games, communications exercises, goal-setting, various techniques to deal with life’s obstacles and emotional intelligence.”
