The Rotary Club of Newlands chartered its seventh Interact Club at Steenberg High School in Retreat on Monday October 16. The charter ceremony took place during the school’s assembly when the over 40 founding members were recognised by principal Andre Kraak and the rest of the school. The Rotary Club of Newlands has a strong association with Steenberg High School, having recently planted 30 trees on the school grounds, as well as facilitating the building of a new music and arts centre which was
opened earlier this year. Pictured is president of the Steenberg High School Interact Club, Rayzaan Hardenberg, with
