Kyra Stevens from
Kenilworth started
drawing when
lockdown started.
Her mother Kim said
the 16-year-old has
always been creative
but lockdown gave
her an opportunity
to focus almost all
her attention on
her craft. Kyra’s
grandmother, who
lives in Cafda, recommended she
send her art to the Southern Mail
for publication. The Sans Souci
Girls’ High pupil, who has type
1 diabetes, now has dreams of
becoming a graphic designer so
she can exercise her creativity to
her heart’s content. If you want
to showcase your lockdown art
simply send us high resolution
or good quality photographs of
your artworks, be they paintings,
drawings or sculptures, along
with a short description and the
date on which they were created
as well as the area you live in and
your age.
