Lotus River Community Day Centre (CDC) held a wellness day to make health services more readily available to patients.
MEC for Health and Wellness, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo visited the clinic on Thursday May 26 as part of the wellness day activities. Also represented were the Pink Drive, Well Women and Lancelet Laboratories who offered pap smears, mammograms and prostate screening as part of the special health initiative. There were also wellness checks, family planning and Covid-vaccinations and boosters.
